Inspired by the true story of the artist Marlies, alias Lieschen, who shone in the GDR State Circus and Friedrichstadtpalast, Lieschen Mueller creates a parallel world of glitter and fanfare. The true story behind the show
Lieschen’s legend is based on Marlies, who performed with her husband in East Berlin and appeared at the Friedrichstadtpalast. Her white rabbit as a heraldic animal and details in the interior tell her saga. Sometimes the real Marlies sits at the bar and enjoys the hustle and bustle.
