For Lieschen’s Summer Splash , we’re looking for up-and-coming DJs, bedroom DJs, crews, collectives, and bold new talents who want to show Berlin what they’re made of—right beneath the TV Tower, at the water features on Alexanderplatz, on a stage with a real summer vibe.

That’s exactly why Lieschen’s Summer Splash exists. We want to create a space where new DJs can make a name for themselves—a place for those who may have only DJed at home, at friends’ houses, or at small private parties so far, but who have long sensed that they have more to offer.

Lieschen’s Summer Splash aims to change exactly that. Our idea is simple: If open mics have given rappers, singers, and comedians their first real platform, why shouldn’t there also be a place where new DJs can get started?
Right beneath the TV tower, by the water features, on an extraordinary open-air space and the terrace of the Lieschen Mueller Bar, a platform is taking shape for sounds that often go unheard. No elitist gatekeeping. No waiting for the perfect résumé. Instead, a stage for vibe, personality, and courage.

Which genres are suitable
Lieschen’s Summer Splash is open to anything that brings atmosphere, energy, and a true summer vibe. Particularly exciting genres include house, deep house, Afro house, electro, tech house, techno, Afrobeat, Latin, reggaeton, R&B, hip-hop, open format, and creative genre mixes.
What matters isn’t whether you can fit into a particular scene. What matters is whether your set works on a summer terrace by the water, gets people moving, and makes for a special evening.

You’re not just playing anywhere. You’re playing right under the TV tower, by the fountains at Alexanderplatz, in a prominent open-air venue that offers a true Berlin experience.
